Testimonial campaign wins GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2024 - "clearly recognisable"

The PAPSTAR testimonial campaign "serving solutions" has been honoured with the German Design Award 2024 in the category "Excellent Communications Design - Brand Identity".

Our campaign "serving solutions" was developed to express our constantly growing sustainability claim. Supported by credible testimonials, the campaign achieved a high level of acceptance in the market environment in a very short time and at the same time contributed to the increased visibility of the PAPSTAR brand. These successes also attracted the attention of the German Design and Brand Institute, the German Design Council, which has now honoured our work with the prestigious German Design Award 2024 in the category "Excellent Communications Design". 

The jury particularly emphasised the consistent and clear design of the campaign, which makes PAPSTAR clearly recognisable as a brand and at the same time arouses the interest and curiosity of the public. This successful combination has now also led to a nomination for the German Brand Award. Being recognised by the German Design Council underlines our commitment to circular solutions. We are sending out a clear signal for sustainable business and would like to inspire other companies, organisations, institutions, associations, event organisers, clubs and, last but not least, consumers.

Independent international jury of experts

An independent international jury of experts decides on the final winner of the German Design Award. It is made up of representatives from industry, universities and design. The "description" of the award-winning campaign states: "PAPSTAR is known for disposable tableware and service packaging, among other things. The company consistently favours renewable raw materials and is increasingly dedicated to the development of solutions in the sense of cycle-oriented material flow management. PAPSTAR is expressing its commitment to sustainability through a broad-based campaign in selected trade magazines under the slogan 'serving solutions'.

"The campaign promotes various sustainable products from PAPSTAR as an alternative to plastic. The combination of likeable testimonials and original wordplay arouses curiosity and arouses interest. A very well thought-out campaign that also impresses with its consistent formal design, which makes PAPSTAR clearly recognisable as a brand."
