The three-star seal of approval for the third successful re-validation: Germany 2024/2025 (PAPSTAR GmbH) and Austria 2024/2025 (PAPSTAR Österreich Vertriebs AG).

GREEN BRAND 2024/2025 (Germany and Austria) - PAPSTAR already one validation ahead

The international brand evaluation organization GREEN BRANDS has awarded a total of 63 brands as "GREEN BRANDS Germany" in the historic town hall in Nuremberg. These included PAPSTAR for the second (2022/2023) and now third successful re-validation (2024/2025).

The "GREEN BRAND" seal of quality is an official EU certification mark for ecological sustainability and already complies with the planned EU directives on the Green Claims Regulation.

This is the sixth time since 2013 that the "GREEN BRAND Germany" award has been presented in Germany to products, foodstuffs, services and companies that demonstrably practice ecological sustainability and therefore deserve a high level of national and international recognition. GREEN BRANDS thus honors the commitment to climate and environmental protection, sustainability and ecological responsibility (

"Sensationally good result"

During the event, Norbert Lux, initiator and Managing Director of the GREEN BRANDS organization, congratulated the company PAPSTAR - represented by authorized signatory Andreas Köller (Lead Business Organization; Quality and Environmental Management) and Hanna Berners (Sustainability Management) - on a "sensationally good result" in the third re-validation: "PAPSTAR is one of the best of over 700 validations in six countries after 12 years!"

Once again, the following assessment criteria were of decisive importance: corporate purpose, environmental management systems, corporate social responsibility, energy consumption, resource consumption, emissions, transportation, water consumption, waste strategy, internal awareness raising and external awareness raising. With almost flawless results, PAPSTAR was particularly convincing in the environmental management systems and in the areas of corporate social responsibility, resource consumption and emissions.
