With its sustainability activities, PAPSTAR was rated by the world's leading corporate social responsibility agency EcoVadis for the first time and immediately won bronze. It was revealed that PAPSTAR is in the upper third of the companies in the industry assessed by EcoVadis. EcoVadis evaluates companies based on 21 sustainability criteria in four subject areas: environment, labor and human rights (social responsibility), ethics and sustainable procurement.

The EcoVadis methodology is based on international sustainability standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative, the United Nations Global Compact and ISO 26000. As part of the EcoVadis assessment process, a team of international sustainability experts analyzes and reviews company data provided (supporting documents, 360 Watch results etc.) to create reliable ratings. These take into account the industry of the respective company, size and geographic location in equal measure.
